- Oversee quality of design solutions as they related to UX and Interaction Design.
- Elevate and strengthen UX Design as a practice.
- Prioritise and coordinate design deliverables by developing a solid understanding of business needs and customer needs.
- Effectively support more junior designers, oversee day to day operations and efficiency improvements.
- Responsible for design team management including mentoring, performance development and recruitment.
- Collaborate with the User Research and CX team alongside Product and Technology to understand user needs, identify design opportunities and create meaningful product experiences.
- Drive a human centered design approach that spans all phases of design development and delivery.
- Frame design solutions and explain thinking and rationale in a compelling way to influence others.
- Leverage HSBC’s UX component library to design and deliver on standard.
- Play a role in the creation and evolution of HSBC’s design system.
- Experience in UX and Digital Design
- Line management experience, supporting and developing others
