We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering Specialist.

Principal responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance systems, owning the full technical lifecycle from design to production
- Low-latency optimization
- Take end to end ownership of system reliability, including monitoring, garbage collection tuning, capacity planning, and disaster recovery strategies
- Diagnose production issues if any
- Serve as a technical role model through code quality, design reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions
Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications
- 10+ years of Java development experience, with a strong focus on large-scale, mission-critical Java applications in a financial services environment
- Strong experience in low-latency and high-throughput systems
- Deep understanding of concurrency: threading models, lock contention, memory visibility, and race-condition avoidance
- Proficiency in verbal and written English
- Excellent problem solving and service support skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Quick learner
What additional skills will be good to have?
- Excellence understanding of a functional programming language
- Understanding of FX domain knowledge and with eTrading background
- Working in a global team with different cultures
- Strong focus and dedication to providing a stable service to customers/consumers
