We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering Specialist.

 

Business: EMERGING TECHNOLOGY

 

Principal responsibilities

• AI/ML Solutions: Mine, analyze, and model large structured and unstructured data using advanced statistical, predictive models, and machine learning algorithms to deliver strategic solutions and actionable business recommendations.
• AI/ML Integration: Lead the integration and application of AI/ML technologies, with a focus on GenAI ones including LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, and agentic AI, to enhance data-driven solutions and streamline business processes.
• Commercialization of Analytics Solutions: Drive the commercialization of analytics-led solutions by applying appropriate methodologies, ensuring effective business application, and rigorously evaluating results.
• Banking Business Insight & Strategy: Maintain a deep understanding of banking business dynamics, anticipate business problems and priorities, and explore data to conduct quantitative analysis for root cause identification and opportunity discovery.
• AI Solutions Development: Drive and deliver AI/ML-Ops solutions, ensuring scalability, robustness, and alignment with business objectives and performance metrics.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with and influence a wide range of partners and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of AI/machine learning solutions with well-defined performance measurement.
• Timely Analytics Deliverables: Ensure the delivery of timely and quality analytics outputs to meet business needs effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge Sharing & Collaboration: Share knowledge and best practices, working collaboratively across teams to create a productive, diverse, and supportive working environment.

 

Requirements

• Experience: 10+ years working experience in analytics, modeling, and machine learning/AI/Generative AI, with proven experience in people management or collaboration with offshore teams.
• Educational Background: MS/PhD degree (preferred) in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Data Mining Expertise: Extensive experience and skill in mining massive volumes of data for quick insight discovery.
• Machine Learning Proficiency: In-depth knowledge and experience with machine learning techniques and algorithms.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Python/R, Command Line, SQL/BigQuery, AI frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, Hugging Face), data visualization tools such as Tableau/QlikSense, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Ali Cloud).
• Generative AI Skills: Experience with embedding techniques, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompting, and LLM fine-tuning; Understanding of Agentic AI.
• Risk and Governance: Experience in managing machine learning model/AI/Generative AI-related risk and control governance.
• AI Research: Ability to interpret and apply AI academic research in Generative AI, Machine Learning to real-world applications; Ability to conduct experiments, draft and publish papers/patents.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated effectively to diverse audiences.
• Interpersonal and Organizational Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and presentation skills, with a keen business acumen.
• Customer Service Orientation: A strong sense of ownership and service mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service delivery.
