We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering Specialist.

Principal responsibilities

• Delivery Leadership:
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of technology solutions using Agile methodologies, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee project governance, compliance, and risk management for Power Platform initiatives.
• Manage delivery plans, track progress, and ensure timely resolution of issues and impediments.
• Power Platform Oversight:
• Provide strategic direction for the design and implementation of solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Establish and maintain governance frameworks, best practices, and standards for Power Platform environments and ALM (Application Lifecycle Management).
• Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to ensure solutions meet business needs and are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
• Scrum Master Mandate:
• Act as Scrum Master for Agile teams, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Remove impediments to team progress and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Coach team members on Agile principles and best practices to maximize team performance and delivery quality.
• Stakeholder Management & Team Collaboration:
• Act as the primary point of contact for business users, IT, and external partners regarding Power Platform delivery.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize processes, increase automation, and enhance service quality.

Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in technology delivery, project management, or technology consulting, with at least 2 years overseeing Power Platform or similar low-code/no-code solutions.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Platform capabilities, governance, and best practices.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex technology projects in a regulated environment.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is required.
• Demonstrated experience acting as Scrum Master, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and coaching teams in Agile practices.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and experience facilitating Agile ceremonies.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Domain knowledge in Private Banking and CRM systems is required.
• Prior experience in banking or financial services is an advantage.
