We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering.

Principal responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the testing team in a SVS. 
  • Define and implement test strategies, plans, and processes to ensure comprehensive test coverage. 
  • Collaborate with the team to plan and execute testing cycles. 
  • Provide support to the team in automation and manual testing efforts, including exploratory testing and validation of edge cases. 
  • Occasionally perform automation and manual testing to support the team and ensure high-quality deliverables. 
  • Mentor and guide a team of testers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing efforts with project goals and timelines. 
  • Drive the adoption of automation tools and frameworks, including Java, Appium, Rest assure etc. 
  • Ensure seamless integration of testing into CI/CD pipelines. 
  • Create and manage test data to support different testing cycles. 
  • Communicate effectively with testers and stakeholders across multiple locations. 
  • Stay updated on the latest testing tools, techniques, and AI-driven solutions like GitHub Copilot to enhance testing efficiency. 

 

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Test Manager, Senior Automation Test Engineer, or similar role. 
  • Strong expertise in mobile manual and automation testing, with hands-on experience in Java, Selenium, and Appium. 
  • Familiarity with testing mobile applications, including push notifications and in-app messages. 
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and testing methodologies. 
  • Experience with API testing and tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar. 
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins. 
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong stakeholder management, excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work in distributed teams. 
  • High proficiency in English, as the role requires regular communication with testers and stakeholders from other locations. 
  • Ability to create detailed test documentation and manage test data effectively. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • 10+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. 
  • Experience in testing mobile applications solutions.
