We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering.

Principal responsibilities
- Design and build a scalable and highly available booking platform
- Contribute and make strategic decisions that affect the design and architecture of this platform.
- Work closely with the front-office trading and product teams to ensure fast and accurate delivery of new functionality and improvements.
- Liaise with local compliance, NFR and other risk/control teams to ensure full compliance with the letter and spirit of all relevant regulatory guidelines and requirements.
- Maintain continuous communication with the wider global team: collaborative development, reviews and strategic decision making.
- Contribute and influence on the future state architecture.
- Providue day-to-day support on Production as part of the DevOps team.
Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications
- Are passionate about technology and look for opportunities to learn and bring new ideas to the team and even wider
- Are able to and willing to take challenge
- Have a strong Agile/DevOps mindset and understand how it works
- Able to work independently with various stakeholders in global, including product owner/business, architects and upstream/downstream IT stakeholders
- At least familiar with one of the Micro-service framwork and architecture and open-sources technologies, such as Spring,Spring Boot and Spring Cloud
- Hands on application design and development experience in Java and Linux based, ideally having Cloud Platform expericience but not mandatory
- Are able to and willing to mentor new joners and junior developers
- Ideally having Prime Broker business knowledge, but not mandatory
