Principal responsibilities

  • Design and build robust, scalable micro-services applications with high observability and supportability.
  • Work with various stakeholders in business and IT in transforming business requirements into sound solutions and ensuring delivery of solutions to be consistent with strategic architecture.
  • Provide production support.
  • Deliver valuable working software to the business with a constant focus on engineering excellence.
  • Drive DevOps process improvement and automation such as CICD.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior developers and promote high-performing team culture.

 

Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications
  • Proven strong expertise in Java and Spring Framework.
  • Clear understanding of Microservices and strategies for building and deploying highly available products.
  • Hands-on experience with Clouds technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Big Data processing, e.g. Spark.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Able to manage the relationships with global stakeholders.
  • Team player, and able to inspire the team to achieve great results.
  • Experience with DevOps and Agile methodology and best practices.

 

What additional skills will be good to have?

  • Proficiency with SQL.
  • Proficiency with Python.
  • Knowledge on capital market products.
  • Knowledge on Finance operation processes, e.g. Accounting.
