We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering.

Principal responsibilities

• Lead the AI algorithm researches on document verification and face recognition area.
• Lead the AI algorithm implementation and model training.
• Collaborate with engineering team to apply the algorithm/model into our digital identity system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production AI systems, ensuring high availability and performance.

Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in IT/software development, with at least 4 years in AI/ML, computer vision, or biometrics.
• Strong expertise in deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), computer vision, and image processing.
• Preferred skills with existing experience on face recognition models.
• Hands-on experience with model training, evaluation, and deployment in production environments.
• Proficient in Python and relevant AI/ML libraries; experience with Java or Kotlin is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of security and privacy best practices in AI, especially in identity verification and biometrics, is an advantage
