We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering.

Principal responsibilities
- Lead the AI algorithm researches on document verification and face recognition area.
- Lead the AI algorithm implementation and model training.
- Collaborate with engineering team to apply the algorithm/model into our digital identity system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production AI systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in IT/software development, with at least 4 years in AI/ML, computer vision, or biometrics.
- Strong expertise in deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), computer vision, and image processing.
- Preferred skills with existing experience on face recognition models.
- Hands-on experience with model training, evaluation, and deployment in production environments.
- Proficient in Python and relevant AI/ML libraries; experience with Java or Kotlin is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of security and privacy best practices in AI, especially in identity verification and biometrics, is an advantage
