We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Service Management Specialist.

 

Business: Enterprise Technology L3

 

Principal responsibilities

  • Production Lead for RDM ASP, provide technical support to RDM Pods for production issues and resolve them promptly;
  • Responsible to drive a reduction in all incidents and continually improve DORA metrics in RDM Pods
  • Responsible to drive the teams to meet Technology Risk and Control Book (TRCB) target.
  • Represent RDM in multiple control meetings, Service Resilience working groups and Service Management forums, connect with senior management and domain SMEs for these two GCIO priorities;
  • The role will have a broad understanding and comprehensive appreciation across Service Management process and principles and depending on remit, may have or require more extensive knowledge of certain specific discipline(s) and the relevant processes
  • Hands on in innovation to improve automation of production environment.

 

Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications  

  • Considerable experience working within an IT service environment, preferably in an enterprise or a global environment. Proficiency in verbal and written English.
  • Excellent problem solving and service support skills.
  • Good relationship management skills.
  • Understanding and experience of delivering within an Agile / DevOps environment using Jira.
  • Understanding of Service Management principles, including some relevant service support experience.
  • Self-motivated, able to work under pressure.
