We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Data and Analytics.

Principal responsibilities
Test Leadership:
- Lead as a hands-on Test Lead, owning overall test strategy, planning, and execution across one or more delivery teams.
- Mentor QA engineers and SDETs, driving best practices in test design, test automation, and defect management.
- Establish quality standards, test governance, and release quality gates across the SDLC.
Quality Engineering and Delivery:
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and risk-based test plans.
- Own end-to-end testing for new initiatives and major releases, from test approach definition to production sign-off.
- Ensure high product quality through functional, integration, regression, and non-functional testing.
Test Architecture and Implementation:
- Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks for API, UI, and service integration testing.
- Define and maintain test data, test environments, and traceability from requirements to test evidence.
- Drive shift-left quality practices, including static checks, early test design, and continuous feedback loops.
DevOps and Tooling:
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable releases.
- Use cloud and container-based test environments to improve test consistency, scalability, and speed.
- Track and report quality metrics such as test coverage, defect leakage, flaky test rate, and release readiness.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with product managers, developers, operations, and security teams to ensure quality objectives are met.
- Communicate quality status, key risks, and mitigation plans clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Lead defect triage, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Testing and Technical Expertise:
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience in software testing/quality engineering.
- Strong experience in 5 or more of the following areas:
- Test strategy and test planning
- API testing and automation (e.g., REST-assured, Postman/Newman)
- UI automation (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Performance testing (e.g., JMeter, Gatling)
- CI/CD and test pipeline integration (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- SQL/NoSQL data validation
- Cloud-based testing (e.g., AWS)
- Containerized testing environments (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)
Leadership Skills:
- Proven experience leading QA teams across multiple squads/projects.
- Ability to coach junior and mid-level testers, and drive quality ownership across engineering teams.
- Strong stakeholder management with the ability to balance quality, timeline, and delivery goals.
Product and Delivery Ownership:
- Strong ownership mindset with ability to align testing priorities to business impact and customer experience.
- Experience building test approach for greenfield initiatives and complex enterprise systems.
- Track record of improving release confidence and reducing production defects.
Problem-Solving and Communication:
- Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving in ambiguous situations.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills, with ability to present quality insights and risks to leadership.
- Practical experience in defect prevention, RCA, and process improvement.
