We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Cybersecurity Specialist

Principal responsibilities

 

Governance & Reporting

  • Support the CISO team with collating Information Security monitoring and risk reports from the central Cybersecurity functions and translate technical information into consumable reports that can be shared with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Work with the CISO team to identify and drive improvement activities across the various functions to operate within the risk appetite.
  • Support the CISO team in representing Cybersecurity in relevant management and governance forums.

 

Secure Business Transformation

  • Understand business strategies and requirements and share with the Cybersecurity central functions to facilitate the planning of cyber investment/transformation programmes and ensure these requirements are incorporated within.
  • Support with the delivery of secure transformation and business led projects.
  • Ensure that new capabilities are built securely and enable smooth adoption in the respective Business/ Service Line.

 

Information Security Risk Management & Remediation

  • Work collaboratively with the CISO team to drive and support Cybersecurity risk management and remediation activities for the respective business/ service line, especially for Cyber incident handling.
  • Ensure adherence to cybersecurity controls and enable/ facilitate access to existing cybersecurity services to support the business strategy.
  • Ensure all remediation activities are completed within agreed timelines and work with the appropriate stakeholders within the respective business/ service line to ensure adequate level of support and commitment is available to drive remediation.

 

Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Establish strong stakeholder relationships within respective business/ service line.
  • Provide mentoring, coaching, and guidance for junior team members (if applicable).

 

Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications

 

  • Good communication and understanding capabilities (Fluent in spoken / written English)
  • Strong problem resolving and time management skills
  • Be able to understand and learn new technical Cybersecurity knowledge and process quickly. Have a good understanding and knowledge about Technology like Infrastructure security, secure software development life cycle, access management and security vulnerabilities etc.
  • Positive and professional attitude, team player, flexible and adaptable, open to changes
  • Ability to quickly build up good working relationships with stakeholders
  • Take responsibility and ownership for work and personal development
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or similar experience, preferably in Cybersecurity or IT Risk management area in the Financial Services industry or global corporate service provider.

 

What additional skills will be good to have?

  • Better to have one or more industry-recognized Cybersecurity security-related certifications including ISO270001, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC etc.
