We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of ASSISTANT RETAIL CREDIT RISK MANAGER.
Principal responsibilities
- Support Head of Wealth Risk, RBW HK and Senior Credit & Risk Manager in monitoring the daily margin call to make sure that the execution of forced liquidation aligned with policy.Proactively manage the credit policy framework and ensure it’s updated in line with economic and portfolio trends, regulations and global/regional policies and guidelines.
- Administer the dissemination of credit policies. Recommend and implement new policies or policy changes. Coordinate with Product team, UWS, CS and operations to implement policy if necessary.
- Ensure regional compliance with all internal and regulatory controls in the dynamic local regulatory environment
- Develop and manage MIS to reflect margin call, new acquisition trend, portfolio trend with sufficient oversight on margin call and portfolio profile.
- Analyse and identify potential areas of improvement in operation, concentration risk, liquidity risk, credit procedures, etc.
- Escalate Wealth Lending emerging risk issues timely and ensure appropriate mitigating actions are devised and implemented swiftly engaging all key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Degree holder with 3+ years of relevant professional experience in retail credit management, accounting, Retail Banking & Wealth Management, etc
- Well-developed analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis using statistical or database packages (e.g. SAS, SQL or Excel)
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Highly motivated mindset, with the ability to work collaboratively with various Customer Groups and external parties (including regulators) to deliver assignments on time
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
