Job Title: GIFT City IWPB Business Development Manager – Onshore
Location: GIFT City, Gandhinagar
Job Introduction
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving awareness, origination, and facilitation of GIFT City–based banking and wealth products by engaging with onshore India teams and key international corridors. The role focuses on building strong referral ecosystems, activating cross-border opportunities, and converting India-linked and offshore client interest into sustainable GIFT City business.
Principal Responsibilities
- To present a competitive GIFT City IWPB proposition which will help the Bank gain a higher market share into the customer’s wallet by presenting a differentiated offering and add to revenue by way of incremental uploads
- Drive business growth for GIFT City products across banking, deposits, investments, and wealth solutions.
- Engage proactively with India-based branches, relationship managers, and business heads to identify offshore needs and channel opportunities to GIFT City.
- Conduct market visits, roadshows, and client engagement programs in India to promote GIFT City offerings.
- Act as a bridge between onshore and GIFT City teams to ensure seamless deal facilitation and execution.
- Drive product awareness and education across India teams on GIFT City propositions, regulatory advantages, and client use cases.
- Provide market feedback to product and leadership teams to refine offerings and sharpen competitiveness.
- Own end-to-end coordination for referred business including onboarding support, documentation facilitation, and stakeholder management.
- Ensure timely conversion of leads into funded deposits, or investments.
- Track pipeline, conversions, and revenue outcomes against defined targets.
- Support leadership with insights, growth themes, and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Post Graduate in any discipline; MBA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
- 8–10 years of experience in business development, relationship management, international banking, wealth management, or cross-border business.
- High comfort with travel and external stakeholder engagement
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
