We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of TEST ANALYST.
Principal responsibilities
- To perform User Acceptance Test in Insurance System for HSBC & HSIC (Asia-Pacific).
- At least 90% of PA time will be spent on this function if the jobholder is assigned to support the testing processes)
- To create test plan and test scenario plan according to project requirement
- To perform query creation in Insurance system as per user’s requirement.
- To manage all project documentations, including UAT procedure/guideline and training manuals.
- To prepare Show & Tell session to end users.
- To provide excellent service to customer and stakeholder, UAT staff will have the chance to rotate the role to provide dedicated support to Insurance Operations especially when external service pledge in risk.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field or commensurate practical experience
- Life and Health Insurance experience preferred, or at least from Financial Institutions
- Ability to understand users’ requirement with their workflow and procedures
- Ability to understand product features
- Ability to understand IT Functional Specification / External Design Document
- Agile methodology and ways of working experience.
- Adaptability and flexibility to respond quickly in evolving project delivery cycle.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders based on a good understanding of mutual objectives and the services required to meet those objectives.
- Awareness of the testing process and experience of performing testing.
- Efficient communication skills on written and verbally with English, explain complex or technical issues; ability to read traditional Chinese.
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering inclusivity and teamwork.
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems, prioritize tasks, and make data-driven decisions.
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
