We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Financial Services Specialist.

 

Principal responsibilities

  • Perform underwrting assessment on both medical/non-medical cases and monitor the underwriting process to completed within the turnaround time in accurate, effective manner
  • Review the completeness and validity of documents submitted by clients.
  • Examine client information and underwrite policies accurately in accordance with established insurance operational guildlines and procedures.
  • Exercise sound decision-making to evaluate client risk profiles and determine eligibility for insurance coverage.
  • Proactively follow up with branch sales managers to ensure the completeness of client policy information.
  • Execute and comply with relevant internal control standards and group compliance policies.
  • Liaise with team leads to identify areas of improvment.Participates in various projects assigned and drive a satisfatory result.
  • Carry out insurance policy administration tasks, including handle case referral, complaint case  and high risk case review and investigation, assist for overall effective control monitoring in UW Ops.

 

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of underwriting experiences and solid experience in backend insurance operations or underwriting process.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills in Chinese and English
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, PPT. Capability of workflow and procedure writer.
  • Strong self-motivation and ability to work under pressure and strong job commitment
  • Good analytical skills, together with the ability to support decisions with sound reasoning
  • Problem solving skills with the ability to work independently and to the highest level of accuracy and accountability
  • Ability to organize work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure, both autonomously and within
  • Strong decision making, negotiation and consultative skills

 

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
