Non-Financial Risk (NFR) is a function that sits within the Markets & Securities Services business of HSBC. NFR helps manage and control non-financial and new risks in the business, including but not limited to operational, conduct and product lifecycle risk.

 

We are currently seeking a high calibre individual to join the team in the role of: Project Manager/BA – Operational Resilience ( 12 Month FTC)

 

 

This role sits within the Risk Framework and Governance team and will be dedicated to the delivery and embedding of the Global Operational Resilience Programme.

 

The role holder’s primary responsibilities will be focussed on supporting the Business to deliver and embed requirements defined under operational resilience regulation globally, with a focus on EMEA and the Americas.

In this role you will:

 

  • Work with the Markets and Securities Services business lines to define the scope of programme deliveries and implementation timeline covering the end-to-end Ops Resiliency lifecycle.
  • Work with the front office stakeholders and the appropriate infrastructure teams, including Operations and Technology, to progress key Operational Resilience deliveries including Value Stream and Process Mapping, Impact Tolerance Statements, Scenario Testing, vulnerability management and Self-Assessments.
  • Ensuring Group and MSS Transformation Strategy is embedded within the programmes.
  • Provide status reporting including visibility on status against milestones
  • Set objectives, report progress, and carefully manage delivery risks and actively identify, assess and manage risks and issues that, ensuring they are monitored and managed appropriately to minimise impact on delivery, escalating as required

 

 

 

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

 

  • An operations professional with exposure to operational resilience, business continuity and/or incident management is preferable
  • Some project relatable experience with a PMO background would be beneficial
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate and influence at a senior level
  • Confident in your approach, can work autonomously with solid organisational skills
  • A sound understanding of market securities services and/or securities services is crucial
