We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our Global Internal Audit (GIA) Enterprise-wide Risk Management (ERM) & Governance Audit team in the role of Audit Manager.

 

You’ll gain exposure to ERM and governance, playing a key role in assessing and strengthening how risk is managed across HSBC while developing your expertise within a high impact, globally connected audit function.

In this role you will:

 

  • Deliver and support end-to-end audit engagements across ERM and governance
  • Assess the design and effectiveness of risk management frameworks, controls, and governance processes
  • Identify key risks, articulate audit findings, and ensure practical, value-adding recommendations are agreed
  • Engage with stakeholders across the business to challenge, influence and drive improvements in risk and control environments
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of audit methodology, including the use of data analytics and innovative audit techniques

 

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

 

  • Experience in Internal Audit, risk, or a related function within a financial service or a regulated environment
  • Strong understanding of ERM frameworks, governance structures, and risk management principles
  • Proven ability to analyse complex issues and deliver clear, insightful recommendations
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence to challenge where appropriate
  • Relevant experience within audit, risk or governance, with evidence of continuous professional development
