To strengthen our team in Dusseldorf, Hansaallee or Frankfurt we are looking with immediate effect for a Sales Manager (m/f/d) Global Trade Solutions (GTS).

In this role you will:

 

  • Support Senior Sales Managers with global customer care and the growth of customer relationships.
  • Grow and manage your existing customer portfolio, while acquiring new GTS customers.
  • Deliver excellent customer service in partnership with outsourced GTS service teams, aligned to our ambition to be the Leading International Trade Finance Bank.
  • Partner with local HSBC Relationship Managers and key stakeholders, working closely with Coverage, Risk and critical support functions.
  • Prepare for client meetings by producing presentations, financial analysis and broader client ecosystem insights.
  • Collaborate closely with client service teams and participate in internal and external client meetings.
  • Take a joined-up approach across the bank, ensuring effective coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Generate new business ideas with internal stakeholders to develop customer-focused solutions and compelling presentations.
  • Ensure GTS operates in line with Operational Guidelines, credit policy and international product authorisations under HBCE.

 

You should apply if you have:

 

  • Sound knowledge of international commercial business (letter of credit, guarantees, medium/long-term export financing), receivables finance, supply chain finance and working capital management
  • Long-standing banking experience with the appropriate BA or MA grade plus an international experience is desirable
  • Proven ability to deliver creative and flexible customer solutions as well as extensive knowledge of the market and market trends, competitive environment and regulatory environment.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment while making material progress with clients and stakeholders across the global HSBC network
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • A strong customer and service orientation as well as a confident demeanor in front of customers and management
  • An independent, precise and structured way of working and high social and teamwork competence
  • Very good English and German language skills as well as very good communication skills

What you’ll get in return

 

The pay range for this role is 75.400,-- € - 95.000,-- €

 

The final compensation structure depends on your qualifications and the resulting contractual grading:

 

  • Tariff grading: The compensation is governed by the collective agreement for the private banking sector (Tarifvertrag für das private Bankgewerbe).
  • Non-Tariff grading: For roles outside the tariff structure, HSBC offers multiple variable pay plans, to reflect the diverse nature of the businesses, roles and markets in which we operate.Variable pay is designed to reward colleagues for their individual performance and contribution, as well as the performance of their relevant Business / Infrastructure, and the overall Group.
