What you will do:
As a Sales Associate in Global Payments Solutions (GPS) Sales – Global Network Banking (GNB) Portfolio, you’ll manage a portfolio of multinational clients supported through HSBC’s international network. Based in our Dublin Sales Hub within the CIB Central Sales Team, you’ll help deliver a standout client experience, retain and grow revenue, and progress opportunities from idea to execution - partnering closely with Product, Client Management, Implementation and Client Connectivity teams.
In this role you will:
- Manage and develop a portfolio of GNB clients across Europe, supporting retention, growth and client satisfaction.
- Own the day-to-day client experience for your portfolio - coordinating responses, leading follow-ups and ensuring a smooth end-to-end journey.
- Partner with Sales Managers and Relationship Managers to identify opportunities, progress pipeline activity and deliver against client plans.
- Collaborate across HSBC (Product, Client Management, Implementation, Client Connectivity) to shape and deliver payments and cash management solutions.
- Support strategic opportunities including pitches, RFPs, proposals and client meeting preparation—turning inputs into clear, compelling materials.
- Use client data and insights to shape recommendations, prioritise activity and contribute to portfolio strategy.
- Maintain strong sales governance - keeping stakeholders updated on progress, risks, blockers and next steps.
- Operate with risk discipline, ensuring activity aligns with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Continuously improve sales routines, client materials and portfolio management processes to deliver outcomes faster and sharper.
You should apply if you have:
- Experience working directly with clients (client service, account management, sales support or similar) and a strong service mindset.
- Strong communication skills - able to make complex topics clear for different audiences.
- Stakeholder management skills and confidence coordinating across teams to land outcomes.
- Commercial awareness and ability to handle sensitive commercial information with good judgement.
- Curiosity and confidence using technology and data to improve client outcomes and ways of working.
- A risk-aware mindset and commitment to working within regulatory and internal frameworks.
- Knowledge of payments, cash management, transaction banking.
- Role relevant qualifications, i.e. Certificate of International Cash Management, ACT (Association of Corporate Treasuries) and European language skills are a plus

What you’ll get in return:
The pay range for this role is 40,000 € - 50,000 €
