Being part of HSBC in Ireland, you’ll help evolve and grow our business.

Are you a strong people leader who enjoys balancing client service with regulatory rigour? Do you have a solid understanding of Irish funds regulation (UCITS/AIFMD) and trustee/depositary oversight? Do you enjoy coaching others, improving day-to-day operations, and spotting issues before they become incidents?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, we want to hear from you!

What you will do:

Assist in managing the Trustee team, ensuring internal deadlines and procedures are followed, and that all clients operate in line with the Central Bank of Ireland’s UCITS & AIFM Regulations and each fund’s constitutional and scheme documentation, in a highly regulated environment.

In this role you will:

• Support the Trustee Manager in running the team, managing workflow and ensuring internal deadlines, KPIs and service level deliverables are met
• Oversee trustee/depositary monitoring to ensure clients operate in line with CBI UCITS/AIFM requirements and fund documentation restrictions
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact for trustee clients, handling queries and issues promptly and professionally
• Guide, train and coach Trustee Analysts and Supervisors on BAU processes and technical matters, supporting an inclusive and high-performing team culture
• Identify, log, escalate and support resolution of breaches and pricing errors in a timely manner, acting independently and ensuring appropriate reporting
• Support onboarding of new trustee mandates (take-on, due diligence, coordination with stakeholders) and contribute to operational reviews and improvements

You should apply if you have:

• Relevant trustee/depositary experience with strong technical understanding of trustee duties and responsibilities
• Good knowledge of the Irish funds regulatory environment (CBI UCITS/AIFM) and comfort working in a highly controlled, regulated setting
• Strong client service mindset with confident stakeholder management (clients, investment managers, administrators, management companies, legal advisors, auditors)
• Proven people leadership or supervisory capability, including coaching, feedback and day-to-day team support
• Strong analytical and numeracy skills, high attention to detail, and sound judgement for issue identification and escalation
• Strong working knowledge of MS Word and Excel. Specialist Certificate in Investment Fund Services, accounting or legal qualification are advantages

Even if you feel you do not meet 100% of our qualifications, we encourage you to apply, if you believe this role is right for you.

What you’ll get in return:
