This role is about supporting, helping and guiding relationship managers in increasing their insurance productivity and building insurance penetration within RM managed clients by identifying and fulfilling holistic insurance needs of customers.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Help improve insurance need identification, more holistic and comprehensive human life value replacement assessment for Premier clients and help drive a better understanding of financial planning and wealth products.
  • Support, develop and train/coach relationship managers to improve interactions and drive higher wallet share and wealth penetration within their portfolio.
  • Help the relationship managers enhance their client engagement, advisory capabilities and sales performance through their experience and knowledge in financial advisory practices and strong subject matter sales background.
  • Act as a strategic partner and contribute in delivering measurable impact on business outcomes
  • Join Relationship Managers in meeting clients and providing technical advice and input based on technical knowledge.
  • Conduct Holistic financial planning reviews with Clients alongside the relationship manager, assess product suitability and market and regulatory change impact to products held by clients as appropriate, identify opportunities to address any client need and manage risks.
  • Collect and apply market and channel intelligence to identify and share product competitive gaps, service issues, business opportunities, and challenges with stakeholders.
  • Provide support to Relationship Managers on increasing and capturing cross sell opportunities.

 

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Graduation degree is a must to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit.
  • In depth experience in financial services, client advisory & Relationship Management.
  • Evidence of strong client recommendation and sales results in wealth products.
  • Equivalent relationship management experience in managing high net worth client portfolios preferred.
  • Expert knowledge in financial planning and wealth products.
  • Have strong passion in training and coaching of insurance products, concept and sales with Relationship Managers
  • Sound knowledge of the impact of macroeconomics/microeconomics/local market developments.
  • Expert knowledge of external regulatory framework relevant to wealth management.
  • In-depth understanding of HSBC Global House Views.
  • Strong clients focus and ability to develop long term partnerships with clients.
  • Ability to deliver needs-based solutions through effective communication, influencing, and sales skills.
  • Local regulatory & license requirements - job holder should possess valid licenses with accreditation on wealth management and qualification as required by country. 
  • Clear view on how to work with Compliance, Credit & Risk and Internal Control to ensure a balanced risk operating environment.
