This role is within our Global Payments Solutions (GPS) team and will support the onboarding and integration of clients onto HSBC Global Payments and Liquidity solutions, coordinating delivery across internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure a smooth implementation onto HSBC digital channels. They will manage a portfolio of client connectivity projects with clear governance, strong execution discipline, and timely escalation to protect client experience and delivery outcomes.
In this role you will
- Manage end-to-end delivery of client onboarding and connectivity implementations across HSBC digital channels, including HSBCnet, Treasury API, Host-to-Host (H2H) and SwiftNet.

- Drive delivery timelines to support efficient implementation and timely client go-live, escalating blockers early and coordinating resolution with relevant teams.
- Coordinate stakeholders across GPS Product, Technology, Operations, Implementation teams, and Sales/Relationship Management to progress deliverables and manage dependencies.
- Support client communication throughout the project lifecycle: organise working sessions, capture decisions/actions, and provide clear progress updates.
- Contribute to client workshops to gather requirements and support business automation goals, partnering with SMEs for solution design and technical alignment.
- Support pre-mandate activity (e.g., RFI/RFP inputs) by providing implementation approach, timelines, assumptions, and delivery dependencies, with senior oversight.
- Maintain accurate implementation documentation and support streamlined document handling using approved tools
- Capture lessons learned and client feedback to support continuous improvement and enhance client experience (including Net Promoter Score (NPS) outcomes).
- Stay informed on relevant industry developments, including emerging connectivity approaches and changes impacting payments delivery (e.g., ISO 20022 awareness).
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Experience delivering projects in a client-facing environment; payments, cash management, connectivity, or technology implementation experience is preferred
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills; able to manage multiple workstreams and deliver under time pressure
- Clear communication skills with the ability to tailor updates to different audiences and work effectively across cultures and time zones.
- Working knowledge (or strong interest) in payments/liquidity and digital connectivity concepts (API/H2H/SWIFT); familiarity with ISO 20022 is an advantage.
- Practical problem-solving mindset with disciplined escalation and a focus on outcomes and client experience
- Fluent written and spoken English required; Mandarin is an advantage
- A graduation degree is essential for obtaining a UAE visa and work permit. If your university certificate is from outside the UAE, up-to-date attestations and equivalency are also mandatory (Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications Issued Outside The UAE)
