The Role:
The Marketing Manager for Global Private Banking MENA plays a pivotal role in driving HSBC’s brand visibility, client engagement, and growth across the region. In this role you will combine creativity and executional excellence, from the ideation and creation of impactful client events to the development of compelling content and campaigns that showcase HSBC’s thought leadership and differentiated value proposition in Private Banking.
As part of this role you will work closely with the Head of Marketing, EMEA International, and regional business leaders to shape, plan, and deliver integrated marketing initiatives that support client acquisition, deepen relationships, and reinforce HSBC’s position as a leading international wealth manager in the Middle East.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Strategy & Ideation
- Partner with business heads to design and execute a cohesive marketing plan that aligns with the MENA growth strategy and global GPB marketing priorities.
- Generate innovative ideas for client and prospect engagement — blending brand, content, and event experiences that elevate HSBC’s profile among UHNW, HNW, and professional audiences.
- Client Engagement & Event Management
- Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of client and prospect events across the region — from concept through post-event analysis.
- Curte and deliver premium experiences (roundtables, panels, forums, and private gatherings) that support business development and deepen client relationships.
- Manage event budgets, logistics, and reporting of performance metrics and ROI.
- Content Development & Brand Positioning
- Create and oversee the production of high-impact marketing content — including invitations, event materials, video scripts, digital campaigns, and thought-leadership collateral.
- Ensure consistent brand storytelling and visual identity across all channels and touchpoints.
- Support the roll-out of global and regional campaigns to build awareness of HSBC’s private banking capabilities and propositions.
- Stakeholder Management
- Influence and collaborate with internal stakeholders including Relationship Managers, Product, Wealth Planning, and Communications teams to ensure alignment and amplify key messages.
- Manage relationships with external partners such as event agencies, venues, and media collaborators to deliver seamless client experiences.
- Maintain strong engagement with compliance and governance teams to ensure all marketing activities meet HSBC’s standards and local regulations.
- Performance & Reporting
- Track, measure, and report on campaign effectiveness, client engagement metrics, and lead influence across the MENA markets.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance future marketing initiatives.
Day-to-Day Activities
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of regional client events and sponsorships.
- Manage content calendars and marketing communications for ongoing campaigns.
- Coordinate internal approvals, compliance checks, and event briefings.
- Liaise with Relationship Managers to identify marketing opportunities that support business objectives.
- Provide regular updates on campaign performance, client engagement, and lead generation progress.
In order to apply for this role you should have the following:
- 5+ years’ experience in leading marketing, events, or communications for a leading bank or professional services sector.
- Have a proven track record in developing and executing high-end client events and marketing campaigns.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills within a matrixed organisation.
- Strong creative and storytelling abilities with attention to detail and brand alignment is required.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with willingness to travel across the MENA region.
- A Graduate Degree is required in order obtain a UAE work permit.
