Job description

Some careers open more doors than others.

If you’re looking to unlock new job opportunities, join HSBC and experience the possibilities.

HSBC International Wealth and Premier Banking aim to be the international bank of choice for affluent customers, supporting their domestic and international banking, and holistic wealth management needs. We provide a leading premium proposition through Premier Banking and, together with our Global Private Bank, are present across the world’s most important markets, booking centres, and corridors most valued by our clients. Our wealth offering is further enhanced through our best-in-class manufacturing capabilities in Asset Management and Insurance.

We are currently seeking an ambitious UAE National to join our International Wealth and Premier Banking team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver integrated marketing content and campaign execution (UAE & MENAT): Partner with Business and Marketing teams to develop and execute an integrated content strategy and deliver marketing campaigns aligned to broader business strategy, focused on revenue maximisation and market/wallet share.
  • Lead flagship internal and external events strategy across the Middle East: Own the strategic delivery of high-profile events across the region (client/wealth engagement events, leadership conferences, employee celebrations), ensuring they support IWPB priorities.
  • Own end-to-end event design and delivery (concept to measurement): Oversee full event lifecycle: concept development, storytelling, venue selection, branding, luxury hospitality, vendor management, budget control, and post-event measurement.
  • Create bespoke, high-touch experiences for HNW clients and key audiences: Curate tailored experiences for high-net-worth clients, partners, and internal audiences, strengthening relationships, reinforcing HSBC brand positioning, and building emotional connection.
  • Build and manage the regional event calendar and integrated communications plans: Develop integrated event calendars and communications plans so activity ladders up to key business priorities and “major moments”, using client insights/feedback to improve relevance and impact.
  • Manage agencies/partners and drive best-practice executional excellence: Manage third-party agencies (creative/experiential/hospitality/logistics) and drive consistent, high-quality experiences aligned with HSBC standards and values; identify partnership opportunities that deliver commercial and relationship-building outcomes.

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Strong evident experience in marketing or event management, with demonstrated leadership in a regional or multi-market capacity.
  • Proven end-to-end event management experience, ideally in financial services or a luxury client environment.
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously across markets (role covers UAE, Qatar, Egypt and Türkiye).
  • Strong understanding of client engagement, brand experience and event strategy as levers for business growth.
  • Deep knowledge of marketing execution and communications, with a strong creative/innovative mindset.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills (able to influence senior executives and drive consensus in a matrix).
  • Excellent vendor and budget management capability.
  • Data-driven and outcomes-focused, able to measure ROI and continuously improve performance.
  • A graduation degree is essential for obtaining a UAE visa and work permit. If your university certificate is from outside the UAE, up-to-date attestations and equivalency are also mandatory (Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications Issued Outside The UAE).
