This role is within our International Wealth & Premier Banking (IWPB) business. The jobholder will support, help and guide relationship managers in better managing their portfolios. They will help improve and shape the teams to be more professional, focus on client management and help drive a better understanding of financial planning and wealth products.  The role holder has a responsibility to support, develop and train/coach relationship managers to improve interactions and drive higher wallet share and wealth penetration within their portfolio.

 

In this role, you will:

 

  • Achieve agreed KPI objectives and profit growth through the improvement in relationship manager engagement with their clients.
  • Observe client meetings to provide feedback and improve relationship managers client interaction techniques
  • Partner with relationship managers to identify individual development needs, providing 1:1 feedback and group coaching on financial planning, investment strategies, client relationship management and business development
  • Collaborate and support sales managers in better managing outdoor meetings, client portfolios and improving revenue.
  • Monitor and act on daily sales activity management information and other internal information tools, using them to effectively grow or maintain wallet share of clients.
  • Fully utilize the Client Relationship Management data and help ensure client information is complete and kept up to date.  
  • Support relationship managers in delivering exceptional client outcomes through enhanced advisory and communication skills.
  • Work with the broader branch, support and direct teams to ensure better collaboration and improved service for customers
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of relevant products and services and coach relationship managers on how to better propose solutions to their clients.
  • Manage operational risk, by using relevant MI to identify risk situations and take any appropriate action to minimize loss
  • Proactively assisting management in identifying and containing Money Laundering compliance risk through reporting of suspicious customers by raising UARs
  • Strictly following and implementing with accuracy KYC and SCC due diligence information for individuals from Sanction & sensitive countries

 

 

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

 

  • Solid experience in financial services and relationship management
  • Evidence of strong client recommendation and sales results in wealth products
  • Evidence of coaching and leading high performing Wealth teams
  • Equivalent relationship management experience in managing high net worth client portfolios preferred
  • Expert knowledge in financial planning and wealth products
  • Sound knowledge of the impact of macroeconomics/microeconomics/local market developments.
  • Expert knowledge of external regulatory framework relevant to wealth management.
  • Strong clients focus and ability to develop long term partnerships with clients.
  • Ability to deliver needs-based solutions through effective communication, influencing, and sales skills.
  • Local regulatory & license requirements - job holder should possess valid licenses with accreditation on wealth management and qualification as required by country. 
  • Clear view on how to work with Compliance, Credit & Risk and Internal Control to ensure a balanced risk operating environment.
  • Able to communicate well in English and Arabic is preferred
  • Graduation degree is a must to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit.
