As a leading bank in the MENAT region, the Advisory team focuses on Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) transactions, while supporting other investment banking products (including Equity Capital Markets on IPOs, Debt Capital Markets and Leverage Finance).
We are currently seeking an ambitious Analyst to join the M&A team in Dubai, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.
In this role, you will:
• Support on the origination of new transactions (pitching new ideas, answering requests for proposal, etc.)
• Support on the execution of M&A, IPO and other investment transactions
• Work on researches, preparing internal memos, building presentations (e.g. pitches, teasers, investment memorandum, etc.), building and working on financial models, participating in due diligence processes, etc.
• Provide support to more senior bankers, and managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Experience in Strategy Consulting / Big 4 is highly desirable
• Previous investment banking / finance experiences will be a plus but not a must
• Exhibit professional and personal presence; actively participate in internal and external discussions; present well-developed and delivered narratives to colleagues and clients; demonstrate mastery of verbal / written / listening / non-verbal (body language) communication skills
• Initiative and judgment: act proactively; demonstrate common sense; work well as part of a team; constantly seek to further develop existing skills and accumulate new skills.
• A graduation degree is essential for obtaining a UAE visa and work permit. If your university certificate is from outside the UAE, up-to-date attestations and equivalency are also mandatory (Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications Issued Outside The UAE).”
