This role sits within International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB) Business Management for the UAE and Middle East, shaping how HSBC connects with clients and colleagues through flagship events. You’ll be accountable for the strategy, design and end-to-end delivery of high-profile client and staff experience across the region, ensuring every event strengthens relationships and reinforces HSBC’s brand positioning. Success means delivering consistently high-quality events that support customer growth, revenue growth and improved customer value and satisfaction. You’ll partner across a matrix organization and with external agencies to deliver measurable outcomes and strong governance. You’ll also help embed best-practice sharing across the region aligned with HSBC’s global standards and values.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Set the strategy, design end-to-end delivery for high-profile clients and staff events across the UAE and Middle East
  • Oversee event execution from concept development and storytelling through to venue selection, branding and luxury hospitality
  • Manage vendor sourcing and third-party agencies across creative, experiential, hospitality and logistics delivery
  • Control budgets and governance, keeping appropriate records and ensuring effective oversight throughout delivery
  • Build event experiences tailored to high-net-worth clients, partners and internal audiences to strengthen relationships and brand positioning
  • Partner with business and marketing stakeholders to align event objectives with growth goals and engagement priorities
  • Create integrated event calendars and communications plans aligned to key business priorities and major moments
  • Measure post-event impact and ROI, using insights and feedback to continuously improve future experiences

 

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

 

  • Strong proven experience in end-to-end event management ideally within financial services, events agency or a luxury client environment.
  • Proven experience in running effective vendors and budget management across varied event formats and suppliers in UAE.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of client engagement, brand experience and event strategy as levers for business growth
  • Apply strong stakeholder management skills including influencing senior executives and building consensus across a matrix organization
  • Manage multiple complex projects in parallel while maintaining quality and pace across delivery
  • Use data to measure outcomes and ROI then translate findings into practical improvements
  • Work effectively in an environment with autonomy and changing priorities while maintaining clear governance
  • Embed operational risk awareness by considering legal and regulatory requirements and partnering with Compliance early on new initiatives.
