Role Purpose:
The role is a client facing role managing our highest value clients where professionalism, client focus and a broad understanding of the fundamentals of Home Finance policy are critical to the success of the business. The role holder has a responsibility to acquire, develop and retain relationships with clients, working with the broader branch and direct teams to ensure achievement of the business performance measures and plan (as defined by WPB).
You are accountable for the assigned outcomes and need to ensure it is effectively run in line with the Target Operating Model (TOM) as defined by HSBC Group. To pro-actively acquire New To Bank (NTB) & Existing To Bank (ETB) clients in the UAE via effective contact strategy and delivery of the home finance sales process with a keen cross-sale awareness. All ETB and NTB clients home finance needs will be fulfilled professionally by the role holder.
To maximize customer satisfaction and business profitability by developing “Best in Class” Retail business, enhancing and shaping the customer experience while maintaining a balanced approach to risk & governance. Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of the market.
In order to deliver the business objectives, you will need to refer non-qualified business to appropriate parties following proposition protocol and attract business with new clients by understanding their home finance needs and delivering high standards of service quality. The identification of opportunities and delivering Home finance solutions as an advisor are amongst the key activities to achieve your goals.
In delivering the business objectives you must also maintain the levels of operational integrity required by HSBC Group, closely managing your individual performance and the collective performance of the team. Duties & Responsibilities:
• Maximize profit and achievement of the growth. Meet and exceed financial targets as outlined within AOP.
• Achieve agreed KPI objectives by development of existing and new relationships
• To process new mortgage applications in line with detailed lending policy, ensuring quality, efficiency and effectiveness of work processed, complying with agreed targets
• Build effective relationships with clients to retain and develop sustainable relationships
• Effective use of tools and information to drive client service delivery and WPB performance
• Build a high personal and corporate profile in the community in which you are based. Develop network of Group and External professional contacts with the aim of introducing new business, enhancing technical knowledge and promoting the brand
• Monitor and act on daily sales activity management information and other internal information tools, using them to coach the wider Branch team in support of business goals
• Establish and agree client contact strategies in line with Group operating models
• Fully utilize and input to Client Relationship Management data, ensuring all client information is complete and kept up to date
• Build and maintain relationships with clients based on credibility, reliability and personal interest.
• Capitalize on Brand Awareness; To grow the business by identifying new Development / Market opportunities for the business
• To implement the Group Compliance Policy
• Work closely with assigned team colleagues to ensure we provide a very professional and ‘Best in Class’ service to all HNW clients.
• Own the client relationship with HSBC and provide professional care and expert financial advice that results in clients considering HSBC their primary bank.
• Maintain a deep understanding and technical knowledge of relevant products and services available from Group sources and elsewhere in order to provide the best solutions for clients and maximize revenues
• Facilitate effective completion of Home Finance transactions (from Approval in principle to Disbursement of funds).
• Closely co-ordinate, liaise and interact with customers, Relationship Managers, other banks, developers, agents and internal processing teams to ensure smooth flow of transaction and to enable efficient communication/ feedback with customers.

• Ensuring that sales & operations are undertaken in accordance with HSBC Bank plc. FIM, BIM and Credit Policy lending guidelines.
• Comply with local regulatory requirements.
• Proactively assisting management in identifying and containing Money Laundering compliance risk through reporting of suspicious customers to MLCO/ACO.
• Strictly following and implementing with accuracy KYC and SCC due diligence information for individuals from Sanction & sensitive countries.
• Quality responses provided for CAMP, SCDM and WOLF alerts and raise and investigate Suspicious Activity Reports and Sanctions related compliance referrals.
• Complete all mandatory Compliance training on time and attend the BMLCO trainings.
• Management of Information Risk including adherence to ISR policy and completion of ISR mandatory trainings.
• Be alert to operational risk losses during the execution of the day to day responsibilities, Identify an operational risk loss and report this to manager ensuring that it is reported to their local risk coordinator.
• Adherence to sanction guidance contained in the Legal and compliance FIM B2.17.7
• Overall responsibility for Branch staff completion of mandatory training and adherence to AML and Sanctions policies.
• Active support and participation in AML and Sanctions project and Global Standards.

Experience & Qualifications:
• Graduation degree is REQUIRED– to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit.
• Minimum of three years proven and progressive home finance services and/or retail sales experience or equivalent
• Evidence of strong sales results in home finance
• Relationship management experience with high-net-worth clients
• Strong technical skills in wealth management
• Strong communication, client focus and influencing skills
• Strong sales orientation, networking and portfolio management skills
• Sound knowledge of home finance products and services and the client relationship management system
• Understanding of business banking client segment and wealth management products and services
• Clear view on how to work with Compliance, Credit & Risk and Internal Control to ensure a balanced risk operating environment
• Able to communicate well in English and local languages
• Strong market knowledge of UAE property market and home finance offerings.
