Role Purpose:We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Assistant Manager for our Finance Innovation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on new technology skills with minimal finance experience. This role requires a flexible approach to work, the ability to collaborate across different teams and stakeholders, and a willingness to embrace creativity and experimentation.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:
•    Collaborate with various teams to identify and integrate new technologies that enhance financial processes.
•    Design, build, test, and deploy analytics and automation solutions (e.g., Power BI dashboards, Alteryx workflows) to streamline finance processes.
•    Automate recurring reporting and data preparation, reducing manual Excel-based activities and improving timeliness and accuracy.
•    Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
•    Utilize strong Excel skills to analyze and interpret financial data.
•    Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to drive project success.
•    Foster a culture of creativity and innovation, encouraging team members to try new approaches and learn from failures.

 

 Experience & Qualifications:
•    Graduation degree is REQUIRED– to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit. If your university certificate is from outside the UAE, up-to-date attestations and equivalency are also mandatory (Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications Issued Outside The UAE)
•    1-3 years of ddemonstrable hands-on experience with loco Application such as (Power BI/Alteryx or equivalent tools); Alteryx experience beneficial but not essential.
•    Strong Excel skills.
•    Exposure to process automation/continuous improvement (Lean, Agile, basic project delivery).
•    Experience with data transformation tools or languages (e.g., SQL, Python) is an advantage.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
•    Creative mindset with a willingness to experiment and learn from failures.
•    Minimal finance and banking experience required; a focus on new technology skills is preferred.
