This role forms an integral part of the overall sales coverage model for MENA Asset Management Wholesale Business.

Focused on developing the IWPB relationship, the role will encompass responsibility of building stronger relationships and growing assets under management and share of wallet focused on the IWPB client segment but also to establish new external relationships.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the Internal Wholesale (IWPB) relationship, ensuring effective frontline communication, support, and a consistently positive HSBC Asset Management experience.
  • Drive growth in Asset Under Management, Net New Money and Net New Revenue, increasing share of wallet across the IWPB client segment.
  • Minimise redemptions/outflows via strong client servicing, RM education/training, and initiatives that build Asset Management advocacy.
  • Own and execute the local Internal Wholesale action plan, including structured client planning and delivery of key growth initiatives.
  • Develop and promote AM sales platforms and solutions, working closely with Investment Wealth Solution teams and Asset Management Marketing.
  • Maintain high-quality CRM usage; sales pipeline, activities, campaigns, data.
  • Build trust with IWPB Relationship Managers, Sales Manager and internal partners

 

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • In depth experience in client facing or client support role within wealth management and Asset Management
  • Strong understanding of retail wealth distribution models, RM ways of working, client segmentation.
  • Solid Asset Management background
  • Good understanding of investment products, capabilities and operations
  • Proven ability to deliver AUM growth, NNM and share-of-wallet outcomes; strong pipeline management, opportunity prioritisation, and conversion discipline.
  • SCA accreditation is mandatory for the role. Candidate must have ICWIM level 3 and UAE Rules & Regulations certification.
  • A graduation degree is essential for obtaining a UAE visa and work permit. If your university certificate is from outside the UAE, up-to-date attestations and equivalency are also mandatory (Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications Issued Outside The UAE).
