We’re looking for an ambitious UAE National to join our Corporate team in Dubai as an Associate Relationship Manager. The role focuses on managing the timely and orderly exit of accounts that no longer meet the Bank’s internal business parameters, while maintaining effective client servicing until closure is complete.
In this Role, you will:
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal colleagues on service-related matters.
• Track and follow up on the status of accounts identified for exit.
• Ensure accounts are closed within agreed timeframes.
• Provide management information (MI) on the progress and status of account closures.
• Liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders to support the timely and smooth completion of the account-closure process.
• Ensure client-servicing requests are processed efficiently while accounts remain operational.
• Ensure that Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements are complete and up to date.
• Ensure daily exception reports are closed in a timely manner
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Thorough understanding of bank and departmental procedures, functions, and activities
• Experience of having worked in a corporate environment manging corporate relationships
• Excellent planning and organisational skills with experience of working under pressure
• Multi-tasking, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously (such as new financing/transactional tasks and the existing portfolio requests)
• Proven ability of using their initiative
• Advanced computer and IT skills, including all Microsoft packages.
• Ability to prioritise workload effectively
• Bachelor’s degree in business/finance/economics
• Professional qualification (or currently enrolled)
• Previous experience in Corporate Banking in the region
• Previous experience either managing or supporting a portfolio
• Analysis/Understanding of financial statements
• Strong credit underwriting, financial analysis, and credit writing capability
• Knowledge of the UAE corporate market and regulatory environment preferred
• A full-time graduation degree of at least three years is essential for obtaining a UAE visa and work permit. For degrees obtained outside the UAE, valid attestations and equivalency are also mandatory.
