We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team in the role of Credit Services Officer.

In this role, you will:

  • The Job holder will generate Credit Information Bureau (CIB) reports from Credit Information System of Central Bank as per checklist.
  • The Job holder is also responsible for CIB database correction of the customers resulting from structural change in board of directors as per checklist.
  • Preparation and submission of credit related returns to the local regulatory authorities.
  • The job holder is responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of services relating to “Regulatory Reporting” within the stipulated regulatory deadlines. Ensuring that regulatory returns are prepared in an error-free manner and submitted to Bangladesh Bank within stipulated deadline.
  • The Job Holder is ultimately responsible for ensuring that all relevant regulations & policies are being followed meticulously during the preparation of regulatory returns.
  • The Job Holder is also responsible for answering the Queries from Internal/External Stakeholders (other departments such as FIN, GTS and also regulators i.e., Bangladesh Bank).
  • Deliver highest level of support to meet any Bangladesh Bank investigations and provide effective situational responses to answer Bangladesh Bank queries.
  • Since regulatory and reputational risk is involved, the Job Holder should have sound decision-making skills; very good job knowledge and should be proactive in order to meet the various deadlines throughout the day.
  • Ensure the SLA, Quality and service performance are met at given standard and with accordance to timeline agreed timeline with internal and external stake holders.
  • Contribute to Overall Operating Efficiency (OOE) by proper usage of Time Capturing system to improve operating efficiency. Minimize operational error and logging errors into IQMS portal.
  • Proactively identify financial crime risks (AML, Sanctions and AB&C) within CIB, utilizing available tools /support functions as appropriate and undertake all requisite actions to mitigate/eradicate unacceptable risk.
  • Own and proactively ensure completion of all Group assigned Mandatory Trainings (including those specified in Compliance Schedules) by self and your team members as required.
  • Ensure timely & adequate response to Stakeholders has been righty managed for Credit Services.
  • Ensure awareness of Group & Local Regulatory Policy (more specifically, regulatory reporting guidelines), Internal & External Audit Findings and Guidance from Compliance, regarding own area of operations.
  • Contribute to the operational simplification and process initiatives to ensure team’s objectives for achieving year on year efficiency upliftment target is met.

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a public/private university preferably from Business background.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and time management skill; ability to learn quickly and to work within tight time frame
  • HUB Knowledge, Bangladesh Bank’s Guidelines/Circulars, Internal Control Guidelines, HKMA Guidelines, Information Security Policy, Relevant BIM/FIM/GSM sections, Strong Time Management Skills, Language Competency, Intermediate Knowledge of MS Office Functions will be added advantage

  • Must be able to prioritize work and take supervised decisions.
