We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team in the role of Credit Services Officer.

 

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Ensure delivery of high-quality facility documentation services to Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) Customers for regular working capital lending, bilateral term financing and syndicated financing.
  • Ensure lending documentations are in line with all approval conditions and local and group policies.
  • Facilitate credit applications loading (Facility and Security Loading in CARM) accurately.
  • Ensure timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by regulators.
  • Supporting the Operations management and Governance of the team which is included but not limited to team’s MI monitoring, strategy formulation and implementation, KPI & KCI monitoring.
  • Develop open communication skills and teamwork and foster learning environment to develop competence.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to coaching and developing teams towards continual performance improvement and increase employee engagement.
  • Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks as well as Group and Local Compliance Policy.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and use customer insight to identify and implement solutions that help improve key business metrics and overall customer experience, including representation at relevant forums (regionally and locally)
  • Ensure high level of customer service by delivering timely, relevant and cost-effective service solution to meet business needs.
  • Ensure continuity of business and safeguard from potential loss by automating and standardizing delivery processes.

 

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a public/private university preferably from Business background.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and time management skill; ability to learn quickly and to work within tight time frame. 
  • Basic knowledge on Central Bank’s guidelines/circulars, internal control requirements, and core banking operations along with HUB knowledge will be added advantage.
  • Diverse experience and a variety of skills related to managing technology, business, and people.
  • Must be able to prioritize work and take supervised decisions.
