Role Purpose

 

This role will support HSBC’s International Wealth & Premier Banking (IWPB) transition activities. The incumbent will manage customer complaint handling, contact centre operational services, and execute wind down related residual works to ensure compliance, customer satisfaction, and smooth operational closure. 

 

This job will support the wind-down project team to help customers exiting the bank ensuring highest standard, and temporary in nature expected to be completed in next 6 months.

 

Principal Accountabilities 

 

  • Receive, log, and resolve customer complaints in line with HSBC’s global standards and Bangladesh Bank regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with relevant departments to ensure timely resolution and fair customer outcomes.
  • Provide outstanding customer service on account closure, loan transfer, govt. Bond transfer, other closure related services to the exiting IWPB customers.
  • Prepare documentation and reporting for management review and audit readiness.
  • Monitor call handling, escalation processes, and customer communication standards.
  • Execute administrative and operational tasks related to the wind down of IWPB services.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure smooth transition of residual activities.

 

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree from a public/private university.
  • Sound knowledge of basic banking services, local regulations. 
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
  • Collaborative approach with cross functional teams.
  • Adaptability to temporary project-based assignments.
