Manager, Financial Reporting and Accounting, Finance

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join in the role of Manager, Financial Reporting and Accounting, Finance.

In this role, you will:

• Ensure accurate and timely submission of financial reporting to Group reporting team
• Oversee the monthly balance sheet reconciliation and substantiation process
• Accountable for the completeness of the periodic control assessment and testing of individual controls
• Provide input to the closing timetable, including internal reporting timelines and periodic lodgement of all statutory reporting by external deadlines
• Input into financial approval of new business, provide advice on financial and regulatory treatments applied
• Working closely with business to provide business finance support with regular contact with senior management
• Ensure interpretation and implement of all types of Bangladesh Bank circulars and guidance related to financial reporting
• Support the development and implementation of various improvement initiatives, and drive efficiencies in reporting where possible
• Drive reporting changes to provide more value added
• Adoption of technology driven solutions to streamline activities and automate manual processes

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Qualification from any professional accounting body (CA, CMA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.)
• Strong financial services knowledge and relevant working experience at managerial level
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders and conflicting priorities
• Attention to detail and an ability to work in a fast-changing environment to tight deadlines
