Assistant Manager, Business Financial Crime Risk (BFCR) Intelligence, CIB (Assistant Vice President)

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team in the role of Assistant Manager, Business Financial Crime Risk (BFCR) Intelligence, CIB Business Risk, Corporate & Institutional Banking.
In this role, you will:
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of financial crime risk (FCR) through continuous learning and ensure adherence to FCR risk management policy/procedure.
- Provide SME guidance and support to stakeholders as required so that they can effectively manage FC risk for business, undertake training and upskilling to address areas of underperformance or emerging areas of risk
- Execute detailed thematic review plans in line with Thematic Review Operating Framework and CIB Customer Due Dilligence (CDD) LoBP.
- Manage deliver of review timeline. Contribute towards meeting FCR KPIS so that the business effectively controls and mitigates FC risk
- Escalate areas of systemic FC risk to appropriate teams
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of at least 2/ 3 areas of cross risk typologies within FC Risk
- Mitigate risks by leveraging lessons learnt from incidents, frauds, operational loss cases and audit comments to establish process / policy / guideline changes
Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from a reputed public/private university preferably in Business background
- Experience of non-financial risk and Corporate & Institutional Banking
- Solid knowledge and experience in processes, Bank systems and/or project management
- Experience in Anti-money laundering investigations
- Ability to manage a technical risk team
- Evidence of leading project implementation or performing a business analyst role for risk management in one or more risk typologies
- Ability to deliver on timelines
- Experience and knowledge of deep dive / risk investigation, assurance, compliance and forensic audit
- Ability to understand and interpret large set of risk data
- Experience in working with data tools analysis tools
- Ability to apply judgement and critical through to identify risks and issues in customer profiles/ transactions/ financial statements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Extremely keen eye for detail

- Strong written / verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to communicate with senior members of frontline teams, Non-Financial Risk / Risk Stewards, Compliance and Audit
