We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the Premier Banking team.
Job Introduction
As a Premier Relationship Manager at HSBC, you will be at the forefront of our flagship "Premier Banking" offering, serving as a vital link to our high-net-worth individual (HNI) clients. Your primary responsibility is to cultivate and expand HSBC Premier relationships, aligning with business targets and strategic plans. You will act as a single point of contact for Premier customers, anticipating their needs and delivering comprehensive banking and financial advisory services. Your role involves ensuring exceptional customer service in accordance with Global Premier Service Standards, identifying opportunities for wealth reviews, and providing tailored wealth solutions. Success in this role requires maintaining the highest standards of integrity, adhering to regulatory requirements, and fostering trust with both the bank and our clients.
Principal Responsibilities
HSBC Premier Relationship Manager
Business Impact:
- Maximize profit and growth of Premier client portfolios by developing new and existing relationships.
- Achieve financial targets through effective client engagement and service delivery.
- Conduct regular client reviews to understand needs and recommend suitable products and services. Cross sell products.
Client Management:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure retention and satisfaction. Need based selling
- Utilize client relationship management tools to keep client information accurate and up to date.
- Develop strategies to increase wallet share and manage a prospect pipeline effectively.
Team Collaboration:
- Work as part of an integrated branch management team to meet standards and deliver operating models.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the business to support client needs and achieve performance measures.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure compliance with HSBC's policies, including KYC, AML, and sanctions guidelines.
- Manage operational risk and adhere to sales quality requirements.
- Attend mandatory training and report any unusual activities promptly.
Leadership & Development:
- Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Establish a network of internal relationships and gather feedback from colleagues and clients.
Education Qualifications / Certifications and Requirements:
Knowledge & Experience
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Industry Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Sales Achievements: Demonstrated success & experience in Wealth products.
- Client Relationship Management: Proven experience managing relationships with high-net-worth clients.
- Wealth Management Expertise: Strong technical skills in wealth management.
- Communication & Influence: Excellent communication skills with a focus on client engagement and influence.
- Sales & Networking Skills: Strong orientation towards sales, networking, and portfolio management.
- Product Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of financial services products, services, and client relationship management systems.
- Business Banking Insight: Familiarity with business banking client segments and related products and services.
- Regulatory Compliance: Possession of valid licences and accreditations in wealth management as required by local regulations.
- Risk Management: Ability to collaborate effectively with Compliance, Credit & Risk, and Internal Control teams to maintain a balanced risk environment.
- Language Proficiency: Proficient in English and local languages.
Accreditations
- Professional Qualifications: Obtain necessary professional and regulatory certifications such as AMFI, IRDA, NISM XXI A (PMS Certification), and NISM XIII (SIF Certification) as per market requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
- India Bank / INM employees will be eligible to apply to this role after completion of 12 months in the current role/position at the time of application on level transfer and/or promotion.
- Entity Employees (not from India Bank) to be guided by their internal policy on tenure completion in current role at the time of application before applying and share line manager approval once shortlisted
- INM Employees in scope of WPB Career Progression Framework not eligible to apply to roles within the purview of the Framework.
