We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Analyst.

Working with Credit Risk, Retail Risk Analytics plays a key role in developing data driven, automated solutions and in the monitoring of current processes to support the Product and operational teams in managing risk, at both transactional and portfolio levels and setting policy and procedures.

This includes private healthcare for all UK-based employees, enhanced maternity and adoption pay and support when you return to work, and a contributory pension scheme with a generous employer contribution.

In this role you will:

•Deliver a number of complex analytics projects within the UK Financial Modelling team, ensuring results are timely and accurate, supporting junior team members and offshore analysts as required.

•Build and maintain profitability models using tools such as Python, SAS and Excel.

•Support growth in the business through the delivery of business initiatives, delivering analytics to enable the design and roll-out of new lending products, enhancing existing product features and managing the exposure of our existing customers.

•Prioritise planned projects and tasks, whilst effectively managing and challenging requests for unplanned or ad-hoc work.

•Develop and maintain a productive relationship with the offshore analytics teams and stakeholders.

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•Previous experience in a relevant role, e.g. Credit Risk Analytics, Collections Analytics or an Analysis based role, with experience of secured or unsecured products.

•Excellent attention to detail and a track record of analytical capabilities using relevant software packages (i.e. SAS/SQL/VBA/Python) to analyse large amounts of data, draw conclusions and drive actions.

•Experience of successful project management, working across a range of teams to deliver.

•Experience of working in an analytical role within financial services or an alternative data-driven organisation.

•Ability to manage and influence Stakeholders at a senior level.

This role can be based in Birmingham, Chester, Leeds or Sheffield (Hybrid).
