We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager, Financial Accounting
In this role, you will:
- Manage end-to-end book closure and financial/regulatory reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely delivery in line with IFRS and applicable regulatory guidelines.
- Deliver BAU activities within agreed timelines, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and adherence to governance standards.
- Prepare, review, and perform analytical checks on journals and reporting outputs prior to final posting and external/internal submission.
- Identify and interpret ad-hoc or new reporting requirements, establish repeatable processes to meet ongoing needs, and implement controls to safeguard data integrity.
- Stay up to date with regulatory, business, and system changes; proactively update procedures and workflows to ensure continued compliance and reporting accuracy.
- Meet defined SLAs, maintain strong relationships with internal customers/stakeholders, and continuously enhance the control environment across the process.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams across in-country and GFOC locations to ensure smooth execution and issue resolution.
- Lead and execute process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, and strengthen standardisation and controls.
- Adapt quickly to system changes and ensure minimal disruption to close and reporting cycles.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and delivery commitments for change initiatives alongside BAU
To be successful you will:
- CA / ICWA / MBA (Finance) with 5 years of post-qualification experience will be considered.
- B. Com / M.COM/ CA Inter with minimum 8 years of experience will be considered.
- Past experience in External/ Regulatory reporting of Legal entity financials and supplementary reports. Experience of Banking Industry is desirable.
- Advance knowledge of MS Excel and basic knowledge of MS Access.
- Good hands on knowledge of systems mainly Saracen and FTP.
- Good knowledge of IFRS mainly IFRS9.
- Good understanding of Banking products.
- Prior experience in External/ Regulatory reporting will be preferred. Prior working level knowledge of Saracen and FTP will be preferred.
- Must have an analytical bent of mind and ability to work for solutions to the adhoc queries.
- Should be willing to stretch as per the project requirements.
