We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager - Financial Accounting, Asset Management

In this role, you will:

• Undertake preparation/Review of monthly, quarterly and annual B/S, P/L schedules and consolidated final accounts as per IFRS
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills to perform variance analysis and detailed review.
• Produce and analyze ad hoc management information requests.
• Undertake preparation and review of various pre and post close journals.
• Collaborate extensively with the external auditors during preliminary and year-end audit procedures.
• Demonstrate the ability to meet KPI timelines including under stringent timelines and high-pressure situations, at the same time maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
• Develop good and effective communication skills to be able to manage the In-country team on a daily basis.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process re-engineering / improvement and participate in change initiatives.
• Responsible for ensuring participation in various learning initiatives to constantly upgrade future-fit skill set.

To be successful you will:

• Chartered Accountant/Postgraduate or MBA with post qualification experience of 5+ years in Finance and Accounting, or
• B. Com / M Com/ CA (inter)/ CWA (inter): 8+ years of work experience
• Prior experience in financial accounting and Reporting and strong knowledge of IFRS along with Very strong Excel skills to interpret high data volume and facilitate automation.
• Good working knowledge of month end closure preferably in the Banking Sector
• Meticulous and impeccable attention to detail
• Good communication skills for ensuring smooth day-to-day interaction with In-Country teams.
• Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of accounting and reporting principles.
• Possess functional experience in accounting for all balance sheets / income statement heads.
