We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Finance Business Partnering Securities Services Global
Location- Bangalore and Chennai
Purpose of the role:
- This is a (Team/I&A sub-function name) role responsible for managing the end-to-end service delivery Opco reporting, Business finance reporting, FRP/ Forecasting processes, Cost reporting and Customer Profitability, driving financial performance management across (team/I&A sub function). The jobholder will be required to build strong and effective relationships across stakeholder framework and senior leadership, providing for Business Analytics, Executive MI and insights, Cost reporting and business finance reporting and at the same time, providing constructive challenge and an independent perspective. The role holder will be the face-off between Finance Operations teams, country stakeholders, Finance Operations senior management and country/regional/global CFO teams.
In this role, you will:
- The role holder will be accountable and responsible for oversight of all internal and external reporting requirements for the Business/Region. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Providing quantitative and qualitative analysis to support business decision making and will have regular engagement with senior management
- The role holder will be responsible to oversee the delivery and development of external & internal reporting requirements of the Business or region and to ensure understanding of the drivers of performance and its impact on Group results.
- Active engagement with the Business/Entity to understand the Business drivers of the core components.
- Continuous focus on process simplification and automation.
- Ensuring a robust control environment around all reporting and data sources.
- Identify opportunities and actively engage and support in execution of strategic projects and commercial initiatives along with representation in key forums.
- Beyond these core responsibilities, the role will also support various ad-hoc projects and analysis, working closely with the senior management.
- Design and enable training on transformation – with a particular focus on developing commercial acumen, business partnering capabilities and technical accounting knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Recognized professional accounting qualification (CA, CWA, MBA) with 15+ years of experience predominantly in Finance, including in leadership positions managing complex requirements from senior stakeholders.
- Proven track record of designing, implementing and operating processes
- Experience of operating and influencing in senior governance forums, handling auditors
- Strong experience and understanding across financial accounting, financial reporting, regulatory reporting or business finance.
- Strong understanding of banking, accounting and reporting systems.
- Experience in designing, implementing and validating the effectiveness of process controls
- Strong formal written reporting skills and experience of drafting papers for Board-level audiences.
