We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice president - Reporting operations
In this role, you will:
- Work independently on complex projects as and when required to achieve business goals and regulatory needs.
- Undertake measures for conducting an analysis and interrogation of liquidity and funding reports to ensure business drivers are understood and explained to senior management for effective achievement of projects.
- Contribute to the production of documents including the Individual Liquidity Adequacy Assessment, Contingency Funding Plan, Annual Report, and Recovery and Resolution Plans
- Collaborate with policy and FCD (Finance Change Delivery) to support the reporting team in the implementation of regulatory changes to reporting
- Take measures to provide expertise and proactive advice on liquidity and funding issues as directed
- Develop MI against liquidity and funding metrics as and when directed necessary.
- Devise delivery strategy to the department in maintaining appropriate controls on EUCs, data security etc
- Enable treasury and global businesses in understanding the implications of any proposed regulatory changes and, where appropriate, devise delivery strategy in providing comments and recommendations to Regulators
- Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure maintenance of the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets
- Responsible for ensuring treasury processes are optimised and well controlled, including liquidity, funding, transfer pricing, and management information (MI)
To be successful you will:
- Understanding of regulatory and internal liquidity and funding metrics
- Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of business structure, product suite and strategic drivers
- Experience working in relevant environments, i.e. Prior treasury experience preferred, Proven ability to influence stakeholders to support the delivery of multiple objectives as well as stand-alone tactical tasks
- Role relevant qualifications, i.e. A degree or professional qualification or work experience which indicates an ability to achieve at this level is required
- Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. High level analysis skills, including the ability to interpret data and trends
- A broad understanding of financial budgets, statements, models, with experience of analysing data effectively for planning, forecasting and reporting
- A comprehensive understanding of the regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements associated with financial services and experience of working within these
- Ability to work under pressure and deal with, or refer on, problems as they arise. Self-motivated and capable of working effectively as part of a team
