We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President - Reporting Operations

In this role, you will:

  • The role is expected to work collaboratively with Business SMEs, Innovation teams, Program managers and delivery partners including IT to support and deliver projects as per the agreed timeliness.
  • Design, Test, and Implement: The role will involve data collation, analysis and developing solution designs for problem statements involving the requirements.
  • The role will also encompass project management activities such as change planning; through to designing and delivering change interventions (e.g. communications, training, support, Organisation alignment); and tracking and taking actions on change readiness, adoption, and feedback as prescribed by Governance Framework.
  • Person needs need to monitor the performance of processes and work with business teams to continuously enhance the controls in the processes.
  • Participate in initial discussions to identify potential business processes for automation
  • Collaborate and establish business relationships with Subject Matter Experts to fully understand candidate processes
  • Methodically examine the structure of processes including upstream and downstream ramifications, making strategic decisions to determine fit for automation, fully understanding selection criteria
  • This role will be required to support either a regional or group reporting operations lead and is part of HSBC’s commitment to enhancing the automation and transformation within the bank.

To be successful, you will:

  • MCA/BCA /B Tech: (10+ years of post-qualification experience) in a leading accounting firms / financial services sector.
  • Qualified Automation expert/Developer. Standard Industry Certifications/Qualifications preferred
  • Qualified process improvement professional (all designations)
  • Experience of leading and executing large scale process automation projects in Banking / Finance industry
  • Experience in working/trouble shooting Microsoft Excel and VBA/Macros/SQL based technical and non-technical solution implementations
  • Should have worked previously on databases e.g. MS Access, Oracle etc. and should be comfortable with query processing language e.g. SQL an IT environment.
  • Experience in working on advanced statistical programming languages like Python and R
  • Should have exposure on various automation tools like Alteryx, Xceptor, Power Automate, Qlik & Advance Python
