We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a VS Delivery Lead, Mobile and Web Enablers.

 

In this role you will need:

  • Drive VSIP planning, monitor spend vs budget and lead prioritization and funding decisions which includes working with product owners and stakeholders to understand demand and organize delivery capacity
  • Break down strategic scope into executable work, assign clear ownership and driving prioritization, facilitating and guiding the teams through Agile processes like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, removing roadblocks and impediments, to focus on delivering value
  • Proactively manage VS level risks, issues and cross-VS/SVS dependencies, escalate delivery risks via Tier 1 and Global or Market Steering forums, lead and represent VS at key governance forums, track OKRs, deliver transparent and timely reporting
  • Drive alignment with key stakeholders, build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment, obtain support when required, unblock issues & dependencies and ensure market readiness
  • Change framework adherence to ensure VS delivery aligns with HSBC’s Agile Change Framework, maintain governance, standards, and best practices across all phases
  • Lead GTC teams to cultivate a high-performing, collaborative delivery culture. Collaborate with business and technology teams to foster effective engagement and delivery principles

 

To be successful you will need:

  • Proven leadership in managing both direct teams and matrixed groups of global stakeholders. Recognised as a strategic partner, adept at translating vision into actionable plans, protecting teams from distractions and navigating complex environments.
  • Ability to cultivate a culture of accountability and agility, with extensive experience operating across multiple markets and regions to deliver outcomes that is globally consistent yet locally relevant.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills to satisfy a wide range of internal and external customers with conflicting priorities and the ability to lead and influence. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, enabling the clear explanation of complex or technical issues.
  • Subject Matter Expertise in digital channel delivery, with a comprehensive understanding of technical, marketplace and customer considerations
  • Strong planning and governance skills, strong commercial focus, ability to balance risks vs. rewards and maximize cost effectiveness and profitability for the business ensuring deliverables are in place and benefits are realised from digital investment
  • Pragmatic decision-making, using data-driven insights to make sound judgements and assess implications
  • Good understanding of project methodologies, frameworks and best practices, ability to maintain a portfolio perspective and manage multiple global and local deliveries to ensure effective project execution.
  • Respectful of different cultures, working with colleagues from across the globe
