We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Trust Relationship Manager.

 

In this role you will:

  • Delivering high quality Will preparation and review, committeeship and estate administration services and services as attorney under enduring power of attorney
  • Ensuring client satisfaction
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures
  • Assist and work under Line Manager within the team in line with strategic and operational objectives
  • Ensure businesses engaged in sits within Trust & Fiduciary services’ risk appetite
  • Provide assistance to team members with the resolution of estate administration and other probate services issues when escalated as well as helping with relationship management and on-going coaching and career development of the team.
  • Work with all team members and internal and external stakeholders
  • Area covers primarily Hong Kong but multi-jurisdictional for certain estate committee cases. 
  • Day to day interactions with estate beneficiaries, Committee family members, HSBC colleagues from Private Banking, Premier and other, as well as non HSBC financial institutions at all levels of seniority, external services providers, such as lawyers, estate agents, auctioneers etc.
  • Assist to promote the services of the team both internally and externally
  • Provide technical assistance as required to Wealth Planners and Trust Relationship Managers in Trust & Fiduciary services

 

To be successful you will:

  • Degree holder in accountancy, legal, tax or related discipline
  • CPA / Legal / STEP qualification preferred
  • At least 5 years’ experience in trust or estate administration and / or advising clients on trust and wealth solutions
  • Client focused, with strong analytic, technical, teamwork and relationship building skills
  • Experience in portfolio management, brokerage and institutional sales useful
  • Extensive knowledge of private banking business onshore and offshore, and competitive and regulatory environment
  • Strong negotiation, complex problems resolution, communication and presentation written and oral skills
  • Sound judgment, keen sense of urgency, and high level of professional and personal integrity
  • Overseas travelling is required on need basis
  • Fluent written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
