Senior Vice President

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Relationship Manager.

In this role you will:

• Develop, manage, plan and implement the services and sales activities of HSBC Innovation Banking products in self region and / or neighbouring cities
• Achieve the Bank’s strategic goal of being acknowledged as the leading banks to support the innovation sector globally
• Provide best class services to both non-facility & facility customers
• Nurture customer relationship to deepen wallet shares with product penetration
• Relationship and risk management so as to maximize Economic Profit to the bank through offering selective and quality lending
• Actively cross selling a wide variety of commercial banking products and products of other functions within the HSBC group
• Develop unique solution for targeted VC-backed portfolio companies in innovation sector
• Work closely with Investor Coverage and Global Fund Banking in HSBC Innovation Banking to maximize the synergy between covering investors and portfolio companies simultaneously

To be successful you will need:

• University graduate with solid general banking experience with exposure in commercial lending and trade financing
• Possess solid knowledge in banking products together with a strong mission to succeed
• Have analytical ability to facilitate the structuring of credits, able to put up quality credit packages and take the lead in securing credit approvals
• Dynamic and forward thinking with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent in English and Mandarin. Cantonese is a big plus
• Strong ambition to explore banking opportunities for Greater China VC/PE backed portfolio companies in innovation sector
• Sufficient degree of business orientation and management know-how
• Strong customer services, sales and result-oriented mindset
• Decision making and analytics skills
• Demonstrate leadership capability
