Commercial Banking – Global Trade Solutions

Hang Seng's Commercial Banking business provides customized one-stop financial solutions to our corporate customers, from prime small and medium-sized businesses to publicly listed companies.

For customers conducting business locally or around the world, we offer a comprehensive range of services including corporate lending, trade solutions, structured loan, cash management, investment, treasury services, insurance and e-Banking services. As a reliable financial partner, we attend to the specific business needs of our customers and provide efficient tailor-made banking solutions through our relationship managers and dedicated specialists.

We are looking for high calibre professionals to join our team as Senior Solution Structuring Manager, Global Trade Solutions.

Principal responsibilities

• Support client needs holistically in structured trade solutions which may include receivables finance, supply chain finance, sustainable trade finance, distribution, etc.
• Accelerate revenue growth through trade solution structuring and deal implementation.
• Conduct client planning and portfolio reviews to identify potential opportunities including replication of structured deals with sales managers resulting in focused structured trade targets.
• Proactively identifying sales opportunities and developing these opportunities
• Engage and educate clients to drive adoption of digital tools and innovative trade solutions.
• Contribute to building structured trade capability and sector knowledge base.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders, which may include relationship mangers and product specialists, to map structured trade solutions into client plans.
• Participating in events, initiatives and activities to develop business opportunities.

Requirements

• University graduate in related disciplines or other relevant qualifications
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in corporate lending or trade finance
• Holder of Enhanced Competency Framework – Credit Risk Management (ECF-CRM) is preferred
• Strong customer service orientation and analytical ability, with good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Resilient, capable to work responsibly in a dynamic environment
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua would be an advantage
• High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers
