Job description

 

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Product Manager, Liquidity Product, Global Payments Solutions.

 

In this role you will:

 

  • Focus on execution of strategic Deposit and Investment initiatives to enhance HSBC’s market share and profile as a prominent liquidity management provider in Hong Kong.
  • Support delivery of balance sheet deposit growth, Net Interest Income and NFI profitability within a complex, dynamic and profitable AMH business.  
  • Identify and develop new products and propositions that drive innovation, stand the test of time and deliver benefits for our customers.
  • Undertake needs-based business cases, support product deployment and delivery, lead commercialisation activities to successful outcomes for the franchise. 
  • Align with the Product Life Cycle framework to achieve product performance objectives and serve as a subject matter expert in a continuously evolving competitive and regulatory landscape. 
  • Engage key business stakeholders to determine interest rate management strategies, effective portfolio management, pricing setups and similar related activities. 
  • Conduct and coordinate relevant analysis on customer data, portfolio insights, emerging market trends, product performance and infrastructure development. 
  • Leverage data led initiatives to proactively identify opportunities for portfolio and customer improvements and tangible commercial outcomes across the portfolio. 
  • Acquire competency in Transfer Pricing, Liquidity and Funding risk frameworks to influence a robust and profitable deposit book that promotes long term stability.
  • Collaborate closely and effectively as a team, and in a cross-functional manner with a diverse group of stakeholders (e.g. Relationship Managers, Sales, Client Management and Operations) to successfully achieve critical agendas.
  • Adhere to robust risk management principles and controls to ensure strong governance is maintained with respect to product propositions, pricing models, marketing activities, audit and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute as a thought leader and strive to bring continuous improvement through innovation, rationalisation, process streamlining and cost efficiency.

  • Knowledge and experience of Deposit and investment products and corporate treasury processes is an advantage.
