We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Product Delivery Manager.

 

Role Profile

 

The Funds & Trustee Services organisation is a global team within Securities Services (SSv), responsible for the development and delivery of products within the Funds and Trustee value stream.

Global Product Delivery is a global team within the Funds & Trustee Services organisation, supporting the solutioning, implementation and rollout of new product features, releases and system migrations, Client onboarding, in line with the SSv strategy.

 

Responsibilities:

 

The Senior Product Delivery Manager (GCB4) provides senior leadership for end-to-end change delivery across platform initiatives for Securities Services, leading multi-disciplinary teams and workstreams within complex cross-functional programmes to ensure strong governance, risk alignment, transparent reporting and programme decision support, delivering safely and sustainably against strategic objectives with clear client and business value and ensuring alignment to the Change Management framework.

This role is central to building and leading a high-performing team capability. In addition to driving delivery outcomes, the role holder will establish enduring ways of working, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and create an inclusive, progressive and adaptive environment aligned to HSBC Values and How We Lead principles —valuing difference, succeeding together, taking responsibility, and getting it done.

 

1. Lead end-to-end delivery and team leadership:

•            Lead complex, cross-functional and cross-geographical platform change initiatives from initiation through implementation and post-implementation support, ensuring solutions deliver measurable business outcomes and end-to-end client value.

•            Build momentum through clear outcomes, pace, and disciplined execution, while enabling teams across boundaries to deliver together.

 

2. Change Management Framework Ownership:

•            Embed a consistent platform change management framework and methodologies across the function as prescribed by SSv, ensuring alignment to global policy, business processes and HSBC governance expectations

•            Promote adoption through training, tools, guidance and practical support, ensuring consistent, auditable delivery and sustainable change outcomes.

 

3. Portfolio oversight & prioritisation:

•            Oversee a pipeline of initiatives and workstreams, ensuring work is captured, sequenced, prioritised and reported effectively.

•            Partner with Product, business stakeholders and senior leadership to identify critical change efforts, define success measures and align delivery to strategic goals - making clear trade-offs and ensuring resources are focused on the highest-value outcomes.

 

4. Governance, Risk and Control leadership:

•            Embed, implement and operate within an appropriate governance framework aligned to wider Group standards. Ensure artefacts, approvals and evidence meet auditability and control expectations.

•            Identify and manage delivery issues and risks arising from platform changes, control changes, stakeholder misalignment, data issues or execution gaps—escalating where appropriate and driving timely resolution with clear ownership.

 

5. Client onboarding and channel/product enablement:

•            Lead and track delivery of client onboarding initiatives to existing and new channels/products, ensuring dependencies are managed, risks are mitigated and end-to-end solutions are delivered effectively.

•            Maintain a strong focus on client outcomes, delivery readiness, and sustainable handover.

 

6. Knowledge leadership and functional excellence:

•            Apply strong management discipline across planning, governance, risk and issue management, delivery readiness, scope, benefits and quality assurance. Support the development of consistent standards, practical delivery methods and strong execution discipline across the team, enabling repeatable success and shared learning.

 

7. Continuous improvement and Operating Model enhancement:

•            Drive continuous improvement of the platform and delivery approach, identifying and embedding best practice. Partner with stakeholders to refine processes, improve delivery effectiveness and champion sustainable operating models and automated solutions—reducing manual effort and improving resilience.

 

8. People Leadership and Capability building:

•            Build, lead and develop a high-performing, inclusive team capability. Provide hands-on direction, mentoring and coaching; support talent acquisition and resource deployment; and ensure the right skills are applied to priority work.

9. Product Delivery Communication and Execution:

•            Develop and implement clear, two-way communication plans to support change initiatives.

•            Deliver updates and change communications tailored to varied audiences, ensuring clarity, engagement and alignment across the organisation.

•            Encourage feedback loops and ensure communications support informed decision-making.

 

10. Stakeholder leadership:

•            Build and strengthen effective relationships with Product, Technology, Operations, Change, Risk/Controls and vendor/third parties as needed.

•            Facilitate working groups, workshops and decision points to resolve dependencies and secure timely inputs.

•            Influence trade-offs and expectations, keeping stakeholders aligned to scope and outcomes.
