We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Manager, Regulatory Compliance Risk Stewarship Oversight.

 

This exciting opportunity is in a team that supports Asia Regulatory Compliance and the Head of Regulatory Compliance Asia and Middle East. Supporting the Head Regulatory Compliance Risk Stewardship Oversight with all aspects of Regulatory Compliance.

 

In this role you will

  • Drive effective and consistent risk stewardship across Regulatory Compliance, providing consolidated end-to-end oversight that related frameworks, policies and procedures are being effectively fulfilled and embedded.
  • Conduct regular risk reviews, assessments and deep dives of risk, control and issue profile.  Actively manage and resolve issues, identifying opportunities to enhance and optimise.
  • Drive development of management information including tools and dashboards, produce value add thematic insight analysis and reporting, provide subject matter expertise, advice, guidance and effective review and challenge.
  • Produce high quality risk reports and thought leadership papers for senior management. Provide advice and support on Regulatory Compliance risks to senior management, Compliance and other colleagues.
  • Actively support the standardised reporting and governance of significant regulatory matters, the ongoing of embedding of the framework for Regulatory Management and manage and foster a strong relationship with all relevant regulators.
  • Actively oversee and deliver strategic initiatives and projects working closely with Transformation and other stakeholders supporting Asia Regulatory Compliance.
  • Develop and foster strong communication and working relationships across Regulatory Compliance teams, Risk and Compliance, Global Businesses and Infrastructure. Actively engage with Compliance Assurance, Group Chief Control Oversight Office and Internal Audit and provide support on regulatory engagements, review and examinations.
  •  Deliver training, knowledge shares and comms to support the ongoing development and knowledge of our people in relation to regulatory compliance and conduct risk.

 

To be successful you will need

  • Demonstrated experience in Regulatory Compliance with strong working knowledge of regulation management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills. With experience of dealing with stakeholders at various leaders, with the ability to render complex concepts into well drafted reports and presentations.
  • Strong team player, experience in leading group of individuals and able to operate across the matrix environment.
  • Ability to develop practical, cost-effective solutions to complex issues. Able to manage ambiguity and fast paced change, requiring innovative thinking and problem solving.
  • Good planning skills are required to perform principal accountabilities and manage a varied workload on a timely basis.
